We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a full time Medical Assistant to work in a busy orthopedic practice with heavy workers comp and personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication skills and a passion for improving patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Patient intake
- Removing sutures
- Dispensing DME supplies
- Phlebotomy
- Translating
- Chart Prep
- Check outs-scheduling appointments
- Managing patient records
- Working with various case contacts – adjustors, attorneys
Qualifications:
- Certified MA & phlebotomist
- Strong knowledge of patient care in an orthopedic practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A caring, empathetic, and patient-centered approach.
